Re: AUSTRALIAN MEMBERS THREAD
There are a few KW dealers who sell the KW kits. Very expensive but top of the line quality.
Not really any of the cheaper options available in Australia.
Cheapest way would be to get MK5 coilovers locally and order a rear shackle kit from Darkside in the UK.
I imported my VMaxx kit from the UK but have now switched to Gaz rear shocks.

Re: AUSTRALIAN MEMBERS THREAD
Just order from the UK. H&R springs and rear shackle kit from darkside or get the bilstein coilovers. Have heard that GAZ coilovers are also good.

Re: AUSTRALIAN MEMBERS THREAD
Hello. I am also going to fit R32 seats and was looking at Touran bases. I don't care about the seating height so I was wondering if you could explain a bit more about these washers. I know the lugs have to be ground off the rails but thought I have to mod the Caddy bases. If I don't have to....I'm all ears (eyes).asr_933@hotmail.com wrote:No need to connect the seat belt wires in the seat and no need to drill new holes. Just make a washer up and use the big hole at the back of the seat base. You just need to make a washer. That way you aren't technically modifying the base.

Re: AUSTRALIAN MEMBERS THREAD
oh cool, an ozzie thread!
Picking up the new caddy this week, and the first thing i'm going to do is sound deaden it.
Given flashing tape isn't as cheap as it is here, my plan was to use this stuff, if anyone knows anything better, please let me know!
pingjing deadner, have used dynamat before, but that was for car audio, this time, its just to reduce the rattle, so don't want to use the expensive stuff. Works out to $31 p/sqm.

insulation to turn it into a camper. This works out to $19 p/sqm.

Thanks!

Re: AUSTRALIAN MEMBERS THREAD
What are my chances.
May have a chance to finally go Caddy owning, still a lot of boxes to tick but selling business with Falcon ute and having my own Caddy after all these years.
This is only a dream but would I be better buying a Maxi van with full windows and fitting second row of seats or buying a people mover and selling 3rd row?
My preferences so far are
2012 >
1.9 Diesel
DSG
Maxi
