Hi all, new to all this forum thing, looking at getting an r32 style exhaust, what options do i have? Does the original r32 exhaust fit or is it a conplete custom build i need?

Re: R32 exhaust
It will have to be custom, the golf didn't have a solid rear beam to contend with so the exhaust from such won't fit a Caddy.
2013 Caddy with EA888 Gen3 2.0TSI DSG, Superplus MSP19 , Caddy4 rear lights, Polo GTI (mk7 style) steering wheel, Relentless Tuning front coilovers, Audi A6 S-Line front seats, Boxster fronts & GTI rear Brakes, 3D Colour Premium dash cluster, Caddy life arm rest, Motexion bulkhead, MIB head unit

Re: R32 exhaust
You can use an R32 backbox or even the Golf R as the backbox for yours though, and that also means using aftermarket versions for either. I had a Milltek MK6 Golf R backbox on mine with a custom link pipe and believe Matt@reflex's blue Caddy had a MK5 R32 backbox. Another issue is the spare wheel and bracket (I removed mine) and as Doc points out, you will need to be careful with the link pipe clearing the rear axle.

Very nice. Is there much work needed on the bumper?

What sort of sound do these systems give?

Re: R32 exhaust
I had my rear box removed and a custom 3" pipe to R32 style twin 4" centre exit tips and it sounds literally no louder than it did with the standard box.

Shame, that's diesels for you tho, ive a 335d at the moment, barely any exhaust note at all despite it having 360bhp

Re: R32 exhaust
Need to get rid of all the gubbins up front to get some sound out of it I think. Egr, dpf, cat etc, not that I wanted mine loud anyway but a slight rise in volume wouldn't have hurt

Yeah it's easy enough with a petrol lump just knock the guts out of the cat and stick an induction kit on
