Hello guys.
I'm struggling now 4 months to find Caddy gti r32 bumpers or what ever they are called, maybe any one know where I could find them to buy?

Re: Caddy r32 gti bumpers
You can't just buy them off the shelf, people are having them made by bodyshop's.
It involves taking a caddy bumper and a golf bumper, cutting and grafting them together.
There will be someone on hear that can point you to a good body shop near you or someone's number that can help.

Re: Caddy r32 gti bumpers
Hi,
I'm going to build my gti bumper, but somebody please tell me this :
If I cut the Caddy bumper lower half down, I cut down the two holders (photo), which are actually hold and position the bumper.
What will hold the hybrid bumper on its place? The two screws of the grill??

Re: Caddy r32 gti bumpers
I haven't done this yet but from all the pics I see you cut below the tow eye cover on both bumpers to the hot staple/plastic weld and prep. If I am wrong guys please correct me. The ones that have been done looks great

Re: Caddy r32 gti bumpers
So, I started, but I'm already stuck.
If I match the bottoms, the tow eyes won't match. If I match the tow eyes, the bumper will be lower 2 inches.

Re: Caddy r32 gti bumpers
excellent work pal..... did you remove the woodscrews or leave them in?... and how did you get the bumper bonded together?..... then just fill prime and paint?...... making it sound easy eh?.... top job m8
