Radio Safe mode

Morning all, anyone know how to get this out of safe mode so I can put the code in.

I’m guessing you have to press and hold down two buttons to get the safe to start flashing so you can put in a code.

I found this. Do you know what’s your mode button??

I don't think the above instructions apply to your RCD300.
Have you tried to enter the code incorrectly to got to the display you have photographed?
I think someone has......

Usually, you have SAFE displayed in the centre alone with symbols (*___, _*__, __*_, ___*)beside the top four side buttons and ENTER on the bottom right. This is how you enter the correct code, using the buttons to change the corresponding digit and ENTER when the correct code is set.
Once you get the SAFE 2 message, you need to leave the ignition on for almost a hour to get another chance at entering the code.

Ta doc, yeah tried a random code I found in service manual book, bought the code yesterday and pressed enter instead of 4th digit. I’ll try keys in ignition when I get home. Cheers all
