Audi TT Seats

Post by Rob »

Can anyone tell me whether 2009 Audi TT seats will fit the Caddy or Touran seat frames? Are they the same rails as the rest of the Golfs/A3s etc?

If they the ones with flat rails yes, if not NO, (well not with out frabricating a subframe) I think Earlier TT's are same as mk4 golfs so it would be the later (2 wheels at the back, one bolt on the front).. They could be made fit but its a lot of hassle..

No it's definitely the newer TT they are out of a 2009 Roadster. Just want to make sure they definitely will line up before I pay for them and arrange a courrier. Unfortunately they are in England so I can't view them first :(

Gat him to send you a pic of the underside of the seats, I think the newer TT has mk5 (flat rails) but couldn't be 100%, a pic of the bases would help you a lot? Or just ask the guy if the rails are flat..

Someone else on here may know for sure whether they will work..

Ended up getting a pair of black/grey half leather/alcantara TT seats from a 2008 car, mint condition, hope they actually work fit!

They have manual slide/height/recline but also a 4-way electric button. Not sure what it's for!

I have just purchased the black version of those red seats, bit of drilling required to the bases.

The green plug is for heated seats you can forget :)

The red plug is for powering the seat (reclining, lumbar, etc) pretty self explanatary think there are four wires you just need the two thicker ones as I remember. if your going to wire up I will check properley

The yellow plug is for the seat’s airbag you dont need.

with touran bases you will need to remove two locating lugs with hacksaw?dremmel from bottom of runners (3 min job. If you offer seats up to bases it really will speak for itself 8)
