I trimmed off both of the thin sections left and right of the bulkhead which have the mounting points. A Dremel would probably be more precise but I just used a hacksaw and left enough material to sand and smooth down to a decent finish. The tricky bit is following the contours at front and back of the bulkhead to make sure you don’t cut off too much material.
I then carpeted the trimmed sections and mounted them using the existing holes and bolts.
I found a decent guide posted here with pictures http://forum.caddy2k.com/viewtopic.php? ... 85287b74bc
I didn’t know about the CaddyLife upper and lower B pillar trims you can get from VW till afterwards, but it’s a cheaper alternative looks the part I think

Door cards arrived today! They’re in pretty good condition as per the listing. Once the switches are replaced, lining re-trimmed and given a good scrub they should look good

I’ve got a 2012 caddy so facelift model.. cheers it’ll be good to check against the part numbers that I’ve come across
Bit of work done on the centre console.. added an internal USB/AUX port
Then shortened the rear panel.. will be adding a switch panel at the bottom for lights/USB sockets/Voltmeter display running off the leisure battery
