Hi guys
I am trying to put high clocks in my caddy it’s a 2010 caddy I have the pin for the van but don’t have the pin for the new used clocks and was wondering how people going about making the swap I have seen it can be done but it’s like a hidden secret of how is anyone willing to explain what tools are needed and how you do it ?

For anything later than 2006, the pin is of no use for immobiliser coding.
You will need a specialist immobiliser coding equipment such as AVDI, FVDI, VVDI or if you have new clocks to fit, ODIS.

Thanks doc I have got vag commarnder and it lets me read/write the eeprom or the flash and sure it has read/write for the Immo data as well on both dashes. Will this be any good to make it work or will I need to do more ? Thanks again for any help

Commander is part of AVDI so you should be fine.

Re: Caddy high line clock upgrade
Ok cool so what do I need to read off the original cluster and write to the new used cluster is it just eeprom or Immo data as well ? Or both and the flash ? And using commander it seems I can do it all Eobd does this sound about right ? and I guessing when it’s copied over I just turn the key and it should start?
Thanks again
Thanks again

Re: Caddy high line clock upgrade
Maybe someone who uses commander can advise, I've not used it for about 9 years so I'd only be guessing. Sorry.
