It will be a nice set up with the 4 wheel drive it's not easy to do but once you have it all lined up and bolted up the rest of it is easy if you use the heldex set up you can can get a stand-alone ecu for it what let's you set up and control how much power you put to the rear

Hi James mate, thank you for your comments my friend. Yes, i’ll be using the Haldex set up from the donor car which is a mint low mileage 2004 Audi A3 3.2V6 quattro. Would be great to see and learn how you accomplished yours, particularly which fuel tank you used etc. Many thanks

Any questions I can help you with I will the fuel tank I'm wanting to use is a a3 quattro but then have it cut and plastic welded so it comes out the side it should do on the caddy but I am also look at having a tank plastic moulded and built to what I need it's just finding a fuel tank cheap enough to not panic if it all goes wrong when I cut it up lol send me a pm and I'll send you my number over.

It could be worth having an alloy tank made too. That's what I did the for the R32 conversion on my Touran:
I sprayed it with stoneguard to make it less of an eyesore I managed to make it quite simple, but also bigger capacity than the original Touran or A3/Golf tanks
A Caddy one will obviously be quite different, but it's an option.

Wow! Now thats a cracking bit of fabrication indeed! Very very tidy, great skills ... Thanks for the idea!

Was thinking that and worst case that's the way I'll go much easy to do that but I want to try and keep it looking OE if I can for any measurements you have for tank would be appreciated would help me out

Re: R32 rear bumper and engine build plus 2015 tinted rear lights
I didn't build it!!! My best mate Andrew did... I just made the little parts and did the assemblies and design
Here are big versions of the measurements
Like I say, Caddy is probably totally different!
Also, if you go this way, the vents from the tank are from an EcoFuel (petrol/CNG) Caddy or Touran tank - they are available from the dealer, and the seals for them - I can't find the part numbers, and the inlet is the plastic valve bit from a plastic tank, with an alloy insert made and welded in the tank.
I got the filler neck from an ecofuel Touran too - it has a hosebarb on the end, so I could just hook up a hose to the tank inlet - Touran filler won't fit a caddy, but a Caddy ecofuel filler might fit??????
Also, (assuming you need a saddle tank over the driveshaft) you need the 4WD version of the fuel pump, which scavenges the fuel from the non-pump side - it's just two hoses over to the other sender anyway.
Oh yeah... I made a model, using CAD and WAD:
