Re: Caddy 4 wheel drive build
Just a quick updates just got back from London picking up a Tiguan fuel tank for the caddy I no I have fitted the golf 4motion tank but I wasn't happy with it so I've been doing a bit of research and it help with having one in at work but measuring up the Tiguan fuel tank and the measurements of the space on the caddy it should fit lovely so I off down the unit now to see How it fits will post photos and updates later 2night

Re: Caddy 4 wheel drive build
Ok well the rear tank is the new one and the font one is the golf as you can see it smaller I've put it up and it is loads better much happyer with it still I've gota do a bit of cutting and welding as there is a cross member in the way what I'll do is cut it out order a new one from TPS and weld it in in a different place so that's the plan I hope lol

Re: Caddy 4 wheel drive build
So started fitting the fuel tank and getting that sitting correctly be for I finish off the welding and start seam sealing. so the mounts are spotted on and technically bolted in just put the axle stand under to hold it until I finish welding and putting the straps on. fuel tank sits nice now had to adjust the floor a bit as on the back of the tank it has a breather and the lugs it sits on also had to do it because I wasn't happy with how low it sat.ive gota get some fuel pipes made up what I'll do at work so no Biggie next is to sort out suspension turret tops and fuel filler neck once that's done then it's a little bit of tidying up a bit of welding then on to seam sealing
