Saw a photo opportunity at work today. It’s a new multi story car park at a Mercedes-Benz dealership which I’ve never driven up before as the ramps are super steep. I’d never have been able to get up there before I had the air suspension fitted.
See, all these mods are all extremely useful and practical
Solved my seat position problem this weekend by cutting a section out of the bulkhead where it was touching the back of the driver seat. Obviously I didn’t just want a hole there as that would look pretty ugly so I covered the bulkhead (and the hole) over on both sides. So now there’s a soft section behind the seat which allows me to slide the seat back and recline much further. It’s worked a treat and I’m now very comfortable
This is where the seat was in its furthest back position before. Note the position of the headrest in relation to the seat belt bracket.
Before.
After. Much more room. I reckon I’ve gained a good 4-5 inches which makes a massive difference to comfort for a tall person.
Yeah unbelievably comfortable mate, well they will be now I have enough leg room. With all the bolster and lumber adjustments you can make on them, you can get them to fit you like a glove.
