Cheers man! I'm just worried if I spray it black it'll be a different shade of black to everything else so will end up all different types of black in the cab, but then I've also got to get black grab handles, interior light and sun visors

Here’s the light

I’ll get the visors tomorrow. I used flexible spray paint on them and the rest was gloss black done by the Bodyshop I use

Re: Mk IV Caddy 2.0 102 Startline BMT
So at 3am this morning I hear this loud bang outside, open the window and there is nothing at all so spend the next 3 hours wide awake.
Alarm for work goes off and I look out the window to see what looks like mud splattered on my bonnet. I head out to take a look only to find it's like a concrete/stone splatter and then I find a length of concrete on the floor....
Turns out the concrete that is against the ridge tile last decided it didn't want to stay attached, sliding down the roof and landed on my bonnet...
Now I have a 15cm dint and scuffed paintwork
To say I'm pissed off is an understatement

That's even worse!! I know I can get mine repaired using PDR, and sort the paint issue myself with a bit of cutting and polishing, but just money and time I don't have at the moment

Thanks for a great build thread - very interested in your use of the superlining on exposed metal work- does it span the gaps over the cutouts in the internal metal work? How easy is it to carpet on top of? Would you advise using the superlining without the sound deadening? Many thanks.

So that's the front speakers now done as well - gotta say it was a massive pain in the ass but worth it in the end
So now have vibe tweeters in the dash, vibe speakers on the doors and jbl's in speaker pods in the rear

How do you find the road noise in the van after doing the insulation and sound deadening mate?
I’ve silent coated mine, I’m wondering if insulation in the gaps helps any?

Re: Mk IV Caddy 2.0 102 Startline BMT
When I did the sound deadening it made the tinny tappy noise to more of a low down thump. When I added the insulation it more or less got rid of the noise. Doing this on the arches alone made a huge difference.
Now the carpet is on as well, it as quiet, if not quieter than a car!

Honestly you won't regret it. I've also noticed when it's bloody cold outside, it's only a little bit chilly inside and when we had that rather warm weather a few weeks ago it stayed cool inside
I know I've probably give over kill on it all as most would just put a free bit here and there, not do the floor or advice the cab etc but the difference is unreal
