Thanks lads.
The red R line badges are of questionable quality, as they’re eBay specials. I’ve had a few now.
I’ve put a coat of lacquer on this one, see how it goes

Does a colour coded pallet count? ImageImageImageImage
No but seriously, I had new reversing sensors fitted the other day, should be handy next time I leave the handbrake off ImageImageImage

Yesterday I ordered coilovers from Demon Tweeks. After lots of research and price checking I decided on the STx kit as it seemed a good combination of price and quality. They are on order, will be getting fitted in a few weeks

I put a few old paving stones in it the other week to take to the tip, it dropped the back end by about 30mm (first time I’ve carried any significant weight in it) and that felt strange.
I’m looking forward to seeing how it rides though. I’ll be doing more insulating and possibly carpeting to quieten it down next....when funds allow

I’ve silent coated mine.....one of the first things I did. It made a little difference but from what I’ve read on here. Super liner and carpet gives it car like levels of quietness

Finally had it lowered!! Decided on the STX kit and had it fitted by Demon Tweeks. I didn’t want it silly low, but I think it looks much better now. The rear wheels have stayed pretty much central in the arches without the need for relocation plates. I’m happy with the ride quality too ImageImageImage

More soundproofing I think mate. Then roof rails, side rail covers, spoiler and maybe side bars. After that I may change the standard steering wheel. Better be doing some overtime I think!

When you come to get the roof rails and you want to get rid of the old gas antenna's. I found that the bulk head conned bolts fit perfect if you leave the rubber gormet in place.
