Will my wheels fit ok ??
Hi guys I’m new to the caddy scene and I’m doing a 2011 caddy up want it looking nice I’m lowering it on coilover kit and I’ve a set of wheels in the garage and I hope they go the size is 5x112 et42 19” with 235/35/19 tyres I’m just hoping they go on as they brand new and was told they fit by a mate but don’t know if he actually knew lol any help will be great cheers

Hello mate - sorry i can't help directly but i just had the same questions and trawled through this thread in the wheels and tyres section (https://www.caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12). Most rim size and tyre combinations have been asked in there so you should be able to find what you need (as i did).

Need to know the width of the wheel first mate, 8.5j ? 9j ? Etc

No chance with that width and that offset if you want to open the side door.

Wheel size calculator here.
You'll have to get your tape measure out and go and see what the clearance is from your current wheels, and work from that. With my standard 16s, I think I'd have gotten away with an absolute max of 45mm extra rim-poke, but have decided against wheels and lowering, as it's gonna cost heaps to do properly.

With 8.5 ET 40 you will get about 5-10mm clearance max

As long as you go with 19" ET45 & no more than 8.5J you will be fine.
