Asz engine transplant

Post by gjseb »

Right guys I and just go process off trying to get things together for transplant I am looking at engine from Srs which has had the crank seal swapped been done already, but I am trying to merge this with a auto gear box will this engine be fine or do I need to look for one off an auto. Also will every thing off my bls bolt on to this engine as they are saying it's plug and play

Cheers Gordon

Egr cooler wont bolt on as no holes for it on the asz block. Either make a plate or get the delete kit. Sure darkside developments sell one.

If removed a light will come on ( run fine ) believe it's about £70 to make it out the system the u need to modify the water line also if u remove it.
I am personally making a bracket just to keep it like for like. Can always remove at a later date when I have the money for map.

This might sound bad but could you send me pic or drawing off bracket so I can have a look and where you going to attach it too you going to run the bls injectors and turbo or you running pd130 injectors and turbo will these run on original wire and that

I have not made this bracket yet. But when u look at the block u will see 3 larger holes that are not In use. I am put a plate on with them and attaching the cooler to it.
Yeah I have put bls turbo and Injectors over already.

Not that far on yet mate.
But it should be plug and play.
I only have the crank seal to fit and new timming belt and it's time to fit it.

Sorry for all questions, did you put new Bls seal in and is hard to do, also now that mod been done it should all basically just plug in and fire up with same clocks and everything is that correct

Also you say that you using your bls injectors and your turbo what if you was to use asz injectors and turbo would it still be plug and play as you won't gain any power from using your standard turbo and injectors will you

Before I started this conversion I googled and researched every page out there and the questions u are asking have been covered 100 times..
I am running all my bls parts only difference is asz block.

U will need a re map if keeping asz turbo and Injectors.
