I commute on country roads, what ye in the UK call B roads I think, I can cruise at 50mph (legal limit) and I’m getting 55MPG. At the weekend I drove to cork, about 250 mile trip with the cruise on at a constant 70mph and it dropped to 42MPH.

I get up towards 600 miles to a tank in 2.0 tdi maxi, clock reads just over 50 to the gallon on average. Reaches around 60 mpg on a run

I have a 2011 1.6 Maxi and do try to keep a track of MPG. Over the past full year I got an average of 43.6 mpg. Roughly about 530miles between fill ups. The Van is hardly ever fully loaded and only ever use Shell V Power or BP Ultimate. Mainly short journeys for me but do do the occasional motorway journeys now and then.

I can get around 500 miles from a full tank to a quarter tank with my 2.0 SDI that's driving approx 60mph on the motorways. She desperately needs a 6 speed box as my rpm is 2800 if I start pushing her to 70 (3300) it feels like I'm killing her. From full I can get 100 miles before my gauge moves.

I get 70miles before the gauge moves in mine, and around 400-450 between full and quarter. Van is a 150ps DSG

between 550-600 depending on driving and that with a remap
use Wynns gold every 3 tanks and that seems to make it better

Greetings All,

New poster - we have a January 2018 reg'd Caddy Life (SWB) MPV with the 1.4TSi 125PS petrol engine and manual gearbox - a very rare beast! So rare that it isn't offered as an engine choice by the Forum! Moreover, Honest John's Real Fuel Consumption charts don't list it, so I have no idea what is normal consumption - it's meant to do around 48.7 on the old combined cycle.

Our fuel consumption over the first 11,000 miles has averaged 42mpg, with the trip computer showing around 45mpg. Quite content with that, as we live in hilly Cumbria, and most trips involve driving over Shap summit, so that compensates for the fact that we don't do much city driving.

This last tank, the trip computer has shown around 50mpg, so it may just be the warm weather, or the fact that my wife has done most of the driving, and she's more sensitive with the throttle! Or, perhaps, that the engine is loosening up. Whatever, we're pleased.

It's a grand little car, and the petrol engine is very sprightly. Touch wood, no problems so far.

as above, I have the Caddy swb highline 1.4tsi 125ps 6speed manual. On a recent run from Mcr/Leeds/York town centres and back I actually averaged 52mpg taking it easy but not snail pace. If you hammer it then its 40/45mpg and around town about 35mpg. well chuffed and it is so quiet I have to give it a rev when stationary to see if its still ticking over. Not a fan of the bluemotion so I cancel that before any trip.

Just refilled our Caddy Life 1.4tsi petrol.
Low fuel warning light came on at 513 miles.
Trip computer read 47.2 mpg.
Actual consumption was 45.64mpg.
Not bad for a petrol!
