First Caddy Royal Blue
Well lads, first post on here and first caddy. Man this forum is addictive. Picked up a 2012 of a friend of mine, this will be used as a daily and travelling to mountain bike races. They plan is to carpet line the back, colour code the bumpers and hopefully lower it. Regards lowering it, I dont have a clue so advice is appreciated.
Also I'd love to hear some of your opinions on some upgrades I could do that won't put a big dint in the pocket.
I won't be doing anything outrageous on this as racing mountainbikes is expensive enough, I just want to have a nice looking motor when I'm on the road
Cheers lads

Re: First Caddy looking upgrade opinions
another one hooked!
You've already got a nice looking van, so thats a good start!
Personally, I'd put a stance+ lowering kit on for £280 and lose the chrome elephant ears!
Then take it from there.....!

I don't actually know, they were on the van when I got it. Looks like an Ebay buy.

Re: First Caddy looking upgrade opinions
I have been quite on here since my first post. My main focus since then was to get the rear sorted with 4 way stretch carpet and laminate flooring. This was the first thing I wanted to do when I got the van in April. I have attached a good few photos of the progress. Still some small things to do such as the light on the roof and a few other small bits but I am happy with how it came out considering I hadn't a clue what I was doing . I found a really good tutorial on YouTube which only for that I don't think I could of attempted it ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TON7xuJkQs8&t=1439s)
I got 10 meters of 4 Way stretch Carpet from Van Line NI (https://www.vanline-ni.com/leisureacces ... g-material) aswell as 1 can of Spray adhesive + delivery was €188, I later bought 3 more cans. There was already plywood in the van when I got it,so I removed that and used the original shape to cut out new fresh sheets.
I got a few sheets of sound deadening, which I should of ordered more but I used what I got and worked quite well (https://ebay.to/2qRMRAk )
I bought laminate flooring from hardware store B&Q for 40euro and applied that on top of the already plywood flooring
Bought 5 battery power lights from Ali express for the moment until I get a more permanent lighting set up sorted but I am pretty happy with the light these provide, they are also have motion sensor so as soon as I open the doors at night they all come on ( https://bit.ly/2QiyWxO )
Future plans are still to get it lowered and colour match the bumpers, maybe some new wheels

Liking the van and your mods!
I’ve started doing something along the same lines for MTB’ing and MTB coaching, gets very addictive and your list of mods will only get longer
