2.0l 5speed caddy re-map
Hi. Is there anyone out there with a 2.0l tdi 5speed (65plate) that has had it mapped think there 102bhp standard. Just wondered what they are like when mapped with 5speed box? Is it always wanting the 6th gear?

Gear ratio would not change, so from that point of view it will be the same, i.e. same rpm at the same speed in the same gear.

I’m similar to you. My vans a 17 plate and I’ve done 35k since new so it’s fairly heavy use
I went for 180. Powers another world compared to 102 and consumptions nearly the same driving it usually. Just nice to be able to boot it when need be
It’s also fine with the 5speed. I still wish it had the 6th gear but it’s not the end of the world

Had mine done too, 182 hp, around 300lb/ft torque, so much better than standard!

there's a place in Great Hallingbury, near Stansted, called SA Tuning....he did my ea189 rollback. Very knowledgeable, and you can check out some of his vids on youtube. There's another decent bloke in Braintree.....Zen, I think?
