Rims and seats

Post by Luckyhammers »

Hi, I’m new to the caddy scene ( picked one up Friday ) it’s a 58 reg
I have few questions
1, what stud pattern do I need ? What size would you suggest I was thinking 17’s
2, how hard is it to fit the Touran middle seats?

The stud pattern you need is 5x112 with a 57.1mm centre bore. Offset of ET55 - ET45 generally works fine depending of wheel width and how lot you intend to run.
The Touran middle row seats are not so difficult to fit if you have applicable skills. Obviously if you sit in front of a computer all day for work and only know how to do that then the job is a lot more difficult for someone who is used to climbing around inside a vehicle, drilling/bolting and welding parts in.

just jumping in on this thread, with the centre bore being 57.1, if i was to buy wheels with a centre bore of 66.6 will that make any difference because it's larger than the original? or is it advised the get Spigot rings to fill in the difference?

Spigot rings will be needed. They normally come with new alloys, or you can buy them quite cheap to whatever size you need

If you're struggling I had the seat conversion done last weekend at Caddy Solutions in Wakefield. They did a brilliant job and a good price.
