Sorry to hijack your thread a little but I can’t seem to find how to send you a direct message.

A friend of mine wants retrofit Mk7 Golf R heated seats in his 2013 Caddy, could you advise me on where to find the loom I need that connects to the climate control unit (with a diagram) and where I could find a loom that connects to the seats as well?

Thanks in advance.

I don’t have golf seats in mine, they are rx8 seats that have been re trimmed and they are not heated ether.

I know Stan the man and tommyzoom both make looms and I’m sure they could knock up what you require

Thanks I appreciate that 👍.

Do you have to have a certain post count to private message people?

To pm I believe it’s 30+ posts. It’s quite easy to get to that no by commenting on people’s builds and then posting in the relevant thread.

Today I took advantage of everyone else being at work and ran the following looms to the fuse box.

Heated washer jets
Driver and passenger windows
Rear 12v power

Still got a few more to do

A while back I received a parcel with the arch kits and with having a custom bumper and a pre facelift nothing lined up correctly. After a few conversations with barbel he pointed me in the right direction, massive thanks to him. I finally picked them up after being painted and fitted.

I’m really pleased with how they’ve turned out

Looks brilliant mate. What a difference the arches make, well worth the effort.

They certainly are lister, seen yours and a few others but never seen a ore facelift so thought why not try it. Certainly changes the look of it
