Where to source replacement bumper load bay black plastic trim?

Post by frankflyer »

Hello,

Relative newbie here. Looking to source the piece of black plastic trim that sits above the bumper at the back of the load bay. I understand TPS now only sells to trade. Anyone know where to get one or what the part number is?

Only photo I have before I threw it away:

Here’s a photo of what I found underneath!

Thanks.

@frankflyer part number should be 2k0863459h 71n (assuming you want the anthracite coloured one) you could search fleebay, falling that 2nd hand one from breakers or new from vw commercials. It's worth going in to tps if you've got one near you, some still sell to public and even the ones that don't only do so because vw say so. If you're stood at their parts counter a lot of salesman will still sell to you. Hope that help man. Also if you're going off that part number to tps or vw make sure to double check it theres quite a few options!

Don't forget the four covers for the screws, they come seperate to the threshold.
It is available in the new "Titan Black" colour with looks good and won't look out of place bring so far from the other grey trim.

Fantastic. Thanks for that. Any tips on how I should find part numbers myself in the future?
