Re: Whine from steering wheel
Is it a groaning sound coming from the front suspension? That'll be top mounts.

Sounds like it’s from the steering wheel. I had new top mounts 2 months ago when coilovers went on

Re: Whine from steering wheel
Is it a scratching/scraping noise like the wheel or slipring rubbing on the cowling?

It’s only when you are slightly wobbling the steering wheel quickly left and right

Re: Whine from steering wheel
Is it inside the van or in the engine bay?? Is it on full lock??
I treated a 1 series with a very similar sounding issue the other week, Hers was under the dash, a simple removeval of rubber and coverings from the steering stalk spray with a ptfe lube (wd40 type will do) and all sqeaking gone.

Yeah it’s inside the van and only when turning the wheel very minimal but quickly.
