What did you do to your van today?
Started building myself a new set of headlights. These are going to be dual halo side lights and have dual halo indicators, along with a single low beam projector.
I’m quite liking the silver look but it’ll all be going black!

Hi mate don’t suppose you could link me to the parts for this build? I want to split my headlights and paint them black but thought may aswell put some halos in there!

@boonalon
Thanks mate that’s give me hope that it might look good
They are replacing front shocks under warranty and I’m paying for new top mounts and kit and they fitting all for £620 inc vat
I have to get them to do as I don’t want to loose my over rated vw warranty

Re: What did you do to your van today?
@bradley same kit? There is a fair it’s a bit of work putting them in TBH so the price you got is not too bad.
I not in to driving fast anymore, but the handling is so much better now

It’s the 45mm drop from vw Hatfield
It is basically a set of springs so they are taking the Micky with price but I’d rather retain the warranty for now and maybe go lower in a few years lol

Did you weld on the small studs that the clips are fastened in?
I just got my kit and the clips are a very loose fit on the blades. I can slide them through the attachment points on the blade. Was it the same for you? I went back to the dealer and pointed this out but they said there's no other clips?
No m8...just used very small screws and drilled the cill to attach the clips...but yes I had the same issue...I thought it was the wrong clips but they are perfect when fitted....just dont overtighten the screws as the clip doesn't work properly if you do

Re: What did you do to your van today?
@AdoleFiddler Well... if you want to do it nice, you have to take your time and not rush. There are some more pictures in my build thread. Took me 3 weekends to do all this carpeting. All these corners and curves are quite tricky. It you have ply lined sides it will be much easier.
