Vw caddy 1.6tdi gearbox query

Hi guys. So I need a new gearbox for the caddy, it's blown 5th gear. Apparently the type I require is an LZY/MHZ. really struggling to find one for a good price, however, I have seen plenty of MZM boxes which tend to be fitted to various 1.6tdi's throughout the VAG range. Has anyone ever fitted one of these boxes or indeed any other type? It Would appear there's loads that potentially fit the CAY engine.
