Yeah mate, i have it in my hands now.liamcaddy61 wrote:Looks a decent van mate, what have you got planned for it.
Nice and tidy, a few blemishes but nothing serious.
Initial plans are getting it more comfortable in general.
Deep clean first then look at carpeting the cab? Wondering if Touran carpet is a straight fit?
Then maybe change the door cards too.
The rear is ply lined so probably take that off, insulate it, carpet it then refit.
Then who knows! Haha
Ive had Mk2 golfs and I know that once yih start it's hard to stop

Touran front carpets are a direct fit and not to expensive I've got some in mine. Touran door cards also fit
I've added a pic of mine

Re: First caddy!
That's good news!
The guy I got mine off said that touran stuff was a good idea as they are basically the same thing.
The shopping begins

Do you glue them in mate or does the interior trim hold them down?liamcaddy61 wrote:Touran front carpets are a direct fit and not to expensive I've got some in mine. Touran door cards also fit

Re: First caddy!
Finished carpeting the rear today.
Back now feels like a horse has trampled on it.
Fingers all cut
Got high a few times and frustratingly ran out so can't do the doors
Overall however, happy with it getting less like a van by the day

Re: First caddy!
Very nice mod and with great effect, makes the interior more highline. Are the vents illuminated? Or is possible to make them like that?

Re: First caddy!
They're not illuminated but i guess you could run some LED lights behind them if you knew what you were doingsylwiu_3gta wrote:Very nice mod and with great effect, makes the interior more highline. Are the vents illuminated? Or is possible to make them like that?

Re: First caddy!
Hi I notice you’ve left the 4 electric window switch in , is the caddy loom compatible? Ta
