Pulled it in the workshop tonight and managed to get a few bits done. Got a few bits of work in to Powdercoat so going to prep the van while they are baking.

Re: 2007 Caddy “quick, cheap” project
Still here. Still prepping. Door shuts and roof tonight fingers crossed. Then doors tomorrow night so they can be rehung Saturday then out back on for the outside to be painted this weekend. Only thing then is to remember where everything went
Had the mrs in helping to prep today while I cracked through customers work. All the bolts being blasted and painted along with a million brackets

No mate keeping the mouldings. Can’t be arsed to weld the holes up . Nah actually quite like the break up in the panels.

You and me both mate. Really
Hope the vision comes together. It’s not ground breaking by any means. Hopefully look similar to this. Most people will think it’s a factory van as they do with the T5

If it was strictly a work van would have left it as it was and had sign writing printed in rusty effect but had this vision in my head for 3 years lol.
It’s VW Mulberry from the 90’s Golf VR6 Highline.
