No it didn’t have any foam on the back and I would stay away from anything foamed backed as you will struggle with the added thickness where panels overlap and around door seals......

Just fitted LED’s into the tailgate, they have made a huge difference lightning up the area of the tailgate while loading.

Also fitted the side track for the sliding door with the built in clips for the cover rail. I was never happy with the way the trim cover sat without the retaining clips. The part numbers posted by some members I found to be wrong and luckily for me my local VW dealership after having ordered two rails and both being wrong ordered all four variants for me. I have taken a photo of the part number and the rail.

Yep, the rail is different for Caddy 4. Couple holes don't align.

thank you for the info!

ordered a small amount for my door cards, might going to try some stretch suedine, as it is really cheap to do the headliner.

Many thanks, next phase will cost a little more money now, I want to colour code the side strips and spray gloss black all the grill bits. 😃

I managed to find time between the rain showers to fit the front mud flaps & my 2K sticker.

Hi Gazza, I guess it's slightly cheating starting with a new van, as a lot on here will spend a lot of time fitting things that my van came with from the factory. That said looking at some build threads on here there is still an awful that you can do with a new or nearly new caddy and I probably won't do half of them, but I do seem to keep adding to the list weekly....... 🤣 I will look forward to seeing how you progress with your too. 👍🏻

How much of the stretch suede did you have to order? Recently bought my caddy and would love to do the cab headlining.
cheers

Hi Ya,
It came 1m x 1.5 meters and I had to order two lots. You will however get away with 1m x 1.5 if you don't trim the B posts. 👍🏻
