Auto lights

Post by the67al »

Hi, i have a 64 plate caddy highline and would like auto lights and coming home lights, is this an easy conversion? i have found an auto light kit on ebay with sensor that seems to delay the drls which would be fine. would this be the easiest/cheapest alternative? many thanks for any advice.

eBay jobbie for around £15, works perfectly! One of best and easiest mods to do

That’s one of two things I wasn’t happy that I didn’t get! I also wanted auto wipers :( but had low mileage

Could you please post the link?

I’m guessing the sensor goes in the bottom of the windscreen?

Correct or to one side near the drivers side dash airvent. Easier to route your wire then. Image

Mines at the top of the A pillar tucked it right on pretty much invisible unless your really looking for it.

Is the fitment of the sensor and routing of the cable much of a task?

I fitted one of these but have never been able to work out how the leaving/ coming home function works.
