Hi guys, just bought my first caddy, it a a 68 plate 2.0TDI currently engine is standard at 102bhp, got it booked in for a remap though, and I'll definitely be doing a lot of work to it. I live in Barnsley South Yorkshire, anyone got any recommendations for seat swaps? Something comfy and maybe with an armrest

Hi mate. Welcome to the forum. If you want seats that bolt right in, A1 seats look smart, Polo seats will go in too. Fitting Touran seat bases will allow you to fit a bigger variety of seats though, Golf, Touran, A3 and so on. As for an armrest, most fit a whole centre console from a caddy life or Touran. Just make sure it fits the new style interior. I’m pretty sure it does mate.

I'd just say be careful mate, a lot of places just put standard generic maps on without any testing or anything. The custom dyno tune that I got took a full day of them testing and re testing, including real world tests instead of just dyno. They'll only take it to where it's running comfortably. Another note is that they offered dpf delete saying that would result in a bit extra hp but that they don't recomend doing it for the health of the van. Btw I don't understand dpf's at all so I'm just relaying the message haha. It was darkside developments I went to, basically any work I want doing I'll have them do it because they're from I can gather one of the most reputable vw tuners in the UK. I guess in a nutshell mate I'd just be careful with anywhere that quotes you an exact figure cause it'll just be a generic untested map. Happy tuning though pal
