Saw these on marketplace, messaged the guy straight away.

Need opinions on colours.... someone suggested copper wheels which does tempt me, what about blue brakes with copper brembo decals? Hmmmm

Thanks, they’re just 312mm discs with I believe eco callipers and adapters. Coming off on Saturday or Sunday

Sound cheers mate I’ve got some spare Porsche callipers that run on 312mm disks hoping they’re not too much hassle to get on the caddy I’ll be keeping an eye on this

I think you’ll need adapters for them. Mine have adapters. Might fit the 18z’s tomorrow, if I do I’ll take pictures of the ones coming off.

This was at work, just thought it looked cool. Bloody love the new polo GTI’s too!

Ordered some pint for some of the bits I’ve collected and had a go at painting. They’re never going to be the best out of a rattle can but I’m happy with them so far. I’ll get the lacquer on today and see if they’re dry enough to fit.

This is the first coat of primer.

First coat of paint.

How I left them last night.

I’ve still got the rear spoiler, Touran rub strips, number plate light trim and mirrors to do but they’ll be done slowly over Xmas. Might tackle the door handles once the rear are done. Then front and rear bumper but I’ve got to buy the front bumper yet.

Popped out to the garage yesterday to have a look at how the rail covers had come out and I’m chuffed with them for a rattle can job. Might have a go at fitting them tomorrow.

I drove my A6 to work this week and home one morning to look after the dogs and ended up with a decent back ache. Drive the caddy in today and my back is fine in the wingbacks. Not the most comfy looking seats but they are!

Side rail covers only came with 1 fitting kit! So, passenger side is fitted. Has intone fitted them and they rattle?

Started prepping the Touran rub strips and rear plate light trim. Going to paint them and fit at some point. That’ll just leave me the handles, spoiler and mirror covers.

Nice mate. Some good little tweaks. Fancy a set of 18Z’s for mine

Cheers, only little like you say as I’m working a lot. I want to try and get the rear carpeted, new headlights, colour coded rear bumper and get a MK7 gti bumper on before Worthersee. I’d also like the 1/2 caddy towable but that’s unlikely.

I’ve also bought some switches for lighting and some extra speakers for the rear ply lining. I need to get the insulation and sound deadening back.

I wasn’t going to get 18z’s yet as I put the other Brembo’s on but they were 40 minutes away and £400. Couldn’t say no!

Sorry to read about your bad news.

Hey thanks dude. It can’t be helped.
It’s the little details that make the difference. Would love to get over to Worthesee but never seem to be able to commit to it.

That’s my problem, I have a mate with a MK6 gti who is quite keen, were trying to sort it for next year.

Just had a go in a Tesla Model 3 Performance. Knocked my bloody socks off. Insane torque! The regen braking was weird.

Got a bit of a soft spot for M4’s at the moment. If some kind of miracle happens and IR35 disappears or gets postponed I might get rid of the A6 and get one, or a RS3.

Following for updates on the trailer build. 8)

Only thing you'll need to be careful with is nose weight as a lot are nose heavy.

Got a few hours in on the trailer project this week. I went up to tidy my units a little as I think I’m going to drop down to just the one soon, my Brian James trailer is going to be sold as I have nothing to tow it with.

Anyway, I managed to remove the exhaust and fuel tank, got 3/4 of a tank of diesel for free! I butchered the tank doing so, cut the filler neck off and drilled a hole to get the last bit. Next time I go up there I think it’ll be time to remove the remaining interior plastics and get the grinder out! Watch this space.
