Re: 2010 Caddy 1.9TDi
I popped over to see my mate in Blackpool over the weekend and we had a mammoth session on the old caddy
Started by DoDo mat thermolining the inside
Should make it a bit quieter

The interior panels and sliding door card were next - a millimetre is as good as an inch right?
Next the bulkhead was cut down, reinforced, and smoothed to make some nice B pillar finishing panels

Re: 2010 Caddy 1.9TDi
I added some sound deadening underneath the ply, then the flooring was layed in:
We also made some the rear 'window' aperture panels, carpeted them, a small trim panel to cover the top bulkhead cut outs in the headliner, and carpeted the B pillar panels:

Great job, can I ask what size roll of carpet you got to complete it, as I’m thinking of doing mine and not sure how much to order

Hi Baz,
That was with 8m of carpet from Megavanmats, 5m of the smoke and 3m of silver for the roof / 'window' panels etc

Re: 2010 Caddy 1.9TDi
The Caddy has been performing faultlessly recently, and I've been on the lookout for some bits to treat it. Luckily I managed to find a 'spares package' in the shape of a Touran in the correct colour, so I can pilfer all its good pits to make the Caddy a bit nicer
It's a DSG FSi if anyone needs any running gear bits or the clocks for a petrol conversion, jap import too so the mileage is in km. I reckon the DMF is knackered on it as it shifts gear perfectly but does its best impression of a washing machine on spin cycle if you put it under any load

Nice "spares package"....it's exactly the same colour code? If so , you are very lucky And what do you want to swap? Only exterior parts or also goodies from the interior?

Re: 2010 Caddy 1.9TDi
Yes I've been looking for one the correct colour for ages, saves me a load of effort spraying everything
I'll be swapping the bumper, wings, mirrors, and maybe the side trims, then interior stuff will be cruise, electric windows, front and rear seats, centre console, and I'm trying to pluck up the courage to look at tackling a dash swap and fitting the climatronic air con too
Cheers,
Mike

Is it pretty easy to carpet the rear mate?
