Be careful turning your immobiliser off @hef355 , it can have implications for insurance cover and you may only get third party cover from some underwriters.
You have the full Passat, there's no reason you can't read the relevant information and put that into the caddy instrument cluster.

Thanks Pete! Things went reasonably well today and the engine is ready to come out of the passat! Not bad considering my KW front coil spring snapped first thing and had to replace that to get it rolling! Lets see what tomorrow brings

It’s always a learning curve mate. I’ve learned loads from this amazing forum, also gained confidence to do some of my own work too, which is something I seriously lack.

Absolutely a great learning curve Pete and this forum is a life line ... literally for me! Really has been my savior and undertaking ‘different’ and ‘challenging’ projects like this has been the best therapy for me in terms of focus, networking and making some fantastic like minded friends ... so this forum has my upmost respect my friend
