I am working on the assumption, based on you having only one relay, that you are controlling the relay with an external source. This is not ideal.
Cheers doc, it’s dsg so no stop start, not ideal I know I’ve taken a signal from the rear heated screen to trigger the heater to come in and then drop out as the rear screen switches off
Fitted the R36 3.6 litre V6 engine and dsg box to my Caddy. Well didn’t fit it today but 10 days of running it since completion on Xmas eve all is going well, brilliant in fact. 300 bhp standard but running 320bhp with map. Such a responsive engine compared to the previous 3.2 Audi V6 and as said previously the dsg box is outstanding. Even mpg is slighly improved! So all good so far
Happy New Year to you and the family Hef. Well done on getting the R36 fitted in the Caddy. A stunning Caddy made even better. Quite by coincidence a R36 Passat drove past me in Norwich this week and I mentioned to a colleague that I knew of some one fitting one in a Caddy. All the best
Bought a new reverse camera today (thanks for the idea r1lea )
The old one that was integrated into the registration light worked fine from a camera aspect, but the clips holding the festoon bulb in just would not stay put no matter how many times I glued them in.
Bought a Carista to clear a airbag warning, great piece of kit also used it to switch on various functions that where previously turned off. Great app and easy to use, never going to replace dealer level tools but for someone who tinkers with there van I think it’s ideal

Cornering lights, where the fog lights come on as you term sharply, needle sweep you can also turn off alarms like seat belt warning, change window settings, wiper settings and headlight and indicator behaviour as well as reset service intervals and warnings etc that’s just what I’ve found so far
