Mr Mann’s Caddy build
So finally picked up my 2013 Caddy Starline last week. It is very basic, it even has manual wind windows! The idea is to turn it in to a weekend camper for climbing trips.
She is going in for a service on Thursday and to have a couple of little issues looked at. Hopefully at the weekend I will fit some sound deadening and make a start on insulation. Only the one picture for now

Your caddy looks to be in very good condition, should make a great starting point.

Thanks, I don’t think you tend to see many red ones. Part of the reason I got this one.
Haha sadly it’s work, but it does feel like I live there sometimes.
Thanks, I do hope so

Re: Mr Mann’s Caddy build
This weekend I started applying the sound deadening. Didn’t quite appreciate how much of a faff it was going to be. It doesn’t look pretty, but you won’t be able to see it in the end anyway right?

Current idea is carpet the sides, wood floor, build a bed on the right hand side and a storage/cooking/worksurface area on the left hand side

Re: Mr Mann’s Caddy build
Sounds like a good idea.
Based on the quality of my sound deadening work, we shall seejdsingleton wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 10:38 am
Sounds like it’s going to look good when it’s finished
