Installing Sub

Na I did it few weeks ago, all goes back in fine,
I removed a bucket handle and bent it straight and taped the wire to it and pushed it through the hole then pulled it through from behind the battery, 2nd time I didn't remove the battery, bit of a pain to grab but you can get it without the faf of removing battery and tray

Today i had the windscreen scuttle panel off along with the front panel part of the plenum area, whilst i was in there i saw there is also a grommet on the passenger side to the right of the air intake, by taking a look at the drivers side, you can see its the bonnet release cable grommet for a left hand drive vehicle, sits up quite high and used correctly dont see why this cant also be used as a cable entry point

What i forgot to say also is, near enuf directly in front of this is couple of rubber cable glands which are where the loom etc comes from the ecu etc, and then passes thru into the engine bay, right behind the battery

Probably a stupid question.
There is a blue and white P. CONT wire from the active sub.... there is no hole for it on the stereo though.
What do I do with it?

If it's the same as mine it's to turn off the sub when ignition is off, so it's not always on, I connected mine to the stereo power wire

No, aftermarket Chinese jobbie... it has a quad lock and a canbus adapter thing.
It’s a kenwood amp thing. I’ve just tested it, and it’s getting permanent live for sure, but it’s not even powering up? Would it need the blue and white wired in somewhere ?

I'm by no means an expert, I did my underseat poineer sub with remote just to the standard stereo a few weeks ago.
I had a loom of three wires that plugged into the back of the sub, a yellow 10amp fused power lead that went straight to battery, a black negative which I earthed to the seatbelt clamp and a blue which I spliced into the power of the standard stereo (if I remember rightly it was the larger red wire, don't hold me to that lol) which makes it turn on and off with ignition.

Pinned my two extra bulkhead speakers into the extra two holes on the speaker terminal which went to the RCA adaptor (which I had to buy from Halfords, £8 I think, the one supplied was female to female) in the back of the sub.

The wheels, I can do! Its the blimmin stereo stuff I get round my ears!

Everything seems to be correct apart from the blue and whiteP.CON wire. How do I know which wire to splice into? I've disconnected the one to the battery now, as it was permanent live and I didn't know if it would drain the battery?
I also disconnected the ground, as im not sure if it was good enough.....how would I test that? I've got a cheap multimeter.....all the wire are tidy anyway

I'm the same mate lol I'd just test for a non permanent live, if it's on while ignition on and off when ignition off, I assume any non permanent would work for the blue wire
