Re: AUSTRALIAN MEMBERS THREAD
Hey Guys
New forum member from Melbourne. Should be picking up a 2015 Caddy Maxi Comfortline TDI320 next weekend. It's only got 31k on the clock, so pretty stoked. Paintwork and interior are in excellent condition.
Looking forward to giving it a good once over to bring out that beautiful Ravenna blue. At some point might look at a remap and lowering but it could become a slippery slope. Test drove it today in Healesville and it certainly has some pulling power (definitely compared to my Renault Kangoo).
Hoping to contribute and learn heaps.
Cheers
Nick

Motor Mechanics Melbourne in Oakleigh are an APR dealer.
Terry the owner is a great guy. He has the APR tune on his Caddy and also specialises in all VAG vehicles.
The APR tune is pretty sweet.
Im currently running a DNA tune on mine.

Re: AUSTRALIAN MEMBERS THREAD
Hi all,
It seems like I'm late to the party... however I hope I am still welcome here
I now owned a MK4 Caddy TDI for roughly a month now and I'm loving it every single day.
Previously drove a 2016 Golf R but I swapped it for the Caddy... for "work" purposes
Anyway, I'm looking to tune my Caddy with Celctic Tuning over at Zadtec Artamon ( I am based in Western Sydney btw)
They are asking $880 for Stage 1 and $980 for stage 2... which seems to be reasonable considering the gain that it creates, which is almost unbelievable to be honest (see photo for reference). Now the question is, has anyone heard of these guys? Any personal reviews? If you have any suggestions or advice please share, It would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
I will be posting some introductory photo tomorrow; hopefully, the sun is out lol
Cheers

Re: AUSTRALIAN MEMBERS THREAD
Hi there, I haven’t done it yet. I’m still looking around at the moment. I haven’t come across many Diesel 2.0 in Sydney region / Australia in general.
However I’m going to see a Revo Dealership this weekend to see what’s available for my van. I’m more familiar with the Revo brand for VAG cars but never actually got it tuned by them, so if anyone have some feedback or reviews on their tuning system please share it.
Are you looking to tune yours as well?
What are your specs?

Re: AUSTRALIAN MEMBERS THREAD
Hi guys,
Loving the Ausie thread.
I have two Caddy’s now due to seeing a 4 motion maxxi that I could not refuse to buy.
I just got the new one remapped and gained two seconds for 0 - 100.
It was a Quantum tune file and I got it done at Northside Euro in Canberra.
Cost $1300 but was totally worth it.
My Brother did the same and he nearly doubled the power on his car.

Gedday Stainless
Geez, if I tried the “deal to good to pass on”routine, I would be divorced!
Do you or any other members know the costs of replacing an engine? I don’t need to right now for my 1.9l TDI Caddy Life Camper 2007 but it has done 266,000kms and I am making an assumption that this engine won’t last forever, I am trying to plan ahead which is difficult for someone not greatly knowledgeable on cars. Any other input on likely expensive repairs for this old girl.

Haha!
Hi Ollie,
My other Caddy is a life Camper as well. It is the best car I ever owned and anyone that passes it when set up love it also.
My caddy has around 240000kms and is still going strong. As long as you keep up maintenance you should get over 400000 out of it.
I just picked up another camper bed and the tail gate from a wrecker in sydney. Even came with the tent.
