Re: What did you do to your van today?
Cheers for the reply. Wow that sounds like my van! I’ve got an edition 30 and it was also one owner from new and now has 66k miles on. I was considering selling it later this year so was wondering what sort of money it would go for. It’s got quite a few mods as well: coilovers, leather s line seats, fully sound proofed and carpeted, genuine Merc amg wheels (I still have originals). I’ve also bought an undertray as VW stopped putting them on after 2012 I think. I’ve been painting my calipers todayVwjack88 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 12:48 pm I dont mind you asking mate. No they are hard to price and people may think I played a lot some may think fair etc, but as far as I see it I was happy with the deal I got so not fussed either way. I payed 8400 for it, 1 owner 65000 miles and full vw service history. Immaculate inside and out so I was a happy chap

There was one on ebay not long back which was up for 9250 and that sold..... dont know how much it sold for but that was the asking price. Again same milage etc.
I'm keeping mine standard mate. Have fitted undertray, bonnet insulation, glove box, cubby hole glove box thing on top of the dash. Sound proofed it and will carpet the back but That's about it mate just doing oem bits really. Slammed my last caddy and it's really inconvenient for me with work and fishing, even though it looks mint.

@BradleyB looks awesome. Bet you cant wait to get it out in the summer (What we have of one anyway).
Always had a soft spot for a rx7 and a supra. It's amazing what a 1.3 wankle can do.

Flashing Glowplugs, limpmode and morning rush to job. How one small pipe, can ruin your morning.
Stupid me.. I have everything to fix it on the road. And I drove 50km (31 miles) to job.

OBDEleven is such a great tool! i had some work done at VW last year and drove away with lights on the dash but didn't have time to go back - quick fault code read with obdeleven, quick google and post on the caddy page and my issue was sorted within minutes
