Hi Gents
I've had a good look, and wondered if anyone has bought a rear bulkhead cover for a Tailgate Caddy Life ?
There's a number of people on eBlag who do some nice ones for the barn door models, see pic
But I've not seen any for below the window of a Tailgate Caddy Life model ? Ideally I'd like one that has proper fixings for it already like in the pic attached, and is a straight forward replacement, rather than the carpet coated hardboard ones that you need to make up a fixing arrangement for ?
I currently just have the standard VW OEM cover, that is a bit tatty where items in the boot have knocked it about a bit over time, and lets down my interior somewhat.

Those are for the bulkhead (behind the seats) not the rear doors.

I would be interested in one of those for the tailgate if you manage to find one. But yeah those ones pictured are for the bulkhead behind the seats.

Easiest way is to buy some material and some adhesive, then cover your existing trim.

Cheers Chaps
Yes, I know the picture wasn't the rear doors, but was the sort of look I am after if that makes sense ?
I have previously bought rear barn door ones for our 2012 1.6 but wasn't really overly impressed by
the fact that it was just 2 pieces of ply that had carpet on them, and there were no fixing holes.
So, If I go down the DIY route then, where do you get/recommend I get the stretchy carpet material ?
Obviously won't need a great deal of it., and I have got a can of the 3M ReMount Removable Repositionable
Spray Adhesive in the garage.

eBay, from megavanmats
It’s the 4 way stretch carpet which most people use. If your feeling fruity and you want something a bit more classy looking, you could also do it in Milano suede from AS Trim which also has a decent bit of stretch to it so you can mould it round shapes.
The main thing you need from the adhesive is hi-temp because if you use one which isn’t hi-temp it’ll come unstuck as soon as it gets hot in summer. I’ve found that out first hand.

Another place worth a look is vanlingcarpet.co.UK
Its not a wind up, it really is a place! It works out cheaper and comes with the High temp glue.
They do the rubber floor matting cheaper than anywhere else I've seen it too
