My blue van build.
Here's my build, nothing exciting, but lots to do. Ordered lots of different bits and bobs to do recently in case I need to self isolate, but first off its the roof rack.
Went with the black gloss roof rack over the silver as thought it would blend in with the rest of the van.
Next up, sound deadening and preparing for seats to be fitted on the back...

Hi, is your van standard Indian blue, paint code LL5M?
It's looking good!

Re: My blue van build.
Hi, cheers for that!
Gives me a little hope that after a bit of elbow grease with a clay bar, cutting compound and polish that i might get a nice shine on mine!
I don't think my van has cleaned or polished in it's 10 year life

Re: My blue van build.
Latest update on the van, choice between pothole or oncoming car. Said pothole (wasn't even that bloody big!) resulted in my abs and traction control light coming on.
Also high brake light light is on, got 2/LEDs out apparently so some thing else to sort.
Started striping everything out the back ready for sound insulation.

Re: My blue van build.
Managed to get off a few hours early today so instead of fixing anything wrong with the van I took out the floor shelf in preparation of fitting the back seats.
Lump hammer and bolster through the welds, jobs a good un.
Did find another unholy mess of extra cables so shall probably end up getting an auto electrician over.

Re: My blue van build.
Bit more work on the caddy today, sound deadening and changing the plastic panel pins for rivnuts and bolts.

Re: My blue van build.
So latest update, the bi xenon units failed on one of my headlights. Closer inspection I found that all 4 fixing tabs had actually broken on the other headlight and that the slam? Crash? Panel is, well, it might as well be not there.
Also found out why the ac isn’t working, the panel is smashed up too.

Re: My blue van build.
So I’ve ordered new parts but with the headlights, didn’t want to go the xenon route, so went for some of the 4 pod touran lights. Which I’ve split and sprayed black.
