No mate I’ve countersunk all the holes and once fitted in place I screwed the screws in so they are a mm or so from the board then using a pick I pull the carpet over the screw heads, then tighten the screws fully and play with the carpet so the cut blends in. It’s a bit of a faff but makes all the fixings completely invisible, which makes it so much neater without any screws visible.
Never bother about asking questions mate, that’s how we all learn at the end of the day.

Yea fair play mate that's taken some time but as you say it is gotta be worth it yours looks sweet, so you ain't used any of the oem fixings but have put screws in and then used the carpet to hide, yea do like that, an as for questions just didn't want to pester but as you say that's how we learn and progress

Re: Toffee delights
Yeah that’s right. No original fixings but used hidden trim clips (from Harrison trim supplies) in their place then additional screws to give extra support, all hidden with the grey carpet.

Re: Toffee delights
As ever looking good. I was going to do this fibre optic roof. Had a few ideas but then the van had to kinda change for work so it wouldn’t have worked. But I like it. Well done.

Re: Toffee delights
Got my replacement rear axle finished off and ready to be taken to the powder coaters. Antiroll bar relocated using 5mm x 50mm Carbon steel flat bar (in prep for when the van goes onto air suspension) and permanent spring saddles (from retrofication) welded on. Hopefully get it dropped off at the powder coaters this week.

Re: Toffee delights
Hi mate I’ve used the van style kit however if I’m honest I will be looking to fit the genuine kit in the future (once I’ve completed the other work I have planned) as the genuine kit is slightly deeper which I think looks better, but it’s only a minor difference.

Re: Toffee delights
Nice one mate, thanks for taking the time to read my thread.
The MK4 lights make a massive difference, just don’t forget to have them coded in right @doc will be able to sort for you or potentially point you towards someone local.

Re: Toffee delights
Yes the mk 4 lights make a massive difference and they do need coding but I'm waiting to get highline clocks so I might as well wait and get everything coded in one sitting but thanks I will get in touch with doc and get recommendations
