Caddy 4 Wind noise
Caddy 4 Wind noise
Hi all, anyone experienced wind noise in caddy 4 from what sounds like it’s at the windscreen? Not usual wind noise at high speed. Sounds more like tyre noise from an under inflated tyre. Happens at lower speeds and sounds like it’s at top of windscreen but hard to tell. I’ve checked all tyre pressures and no gaps around windscreen.
I have caddy life mirrors so don’t think it’s them. Also have wind deflectors fitted but I don’t think it’s them either. Weird one but hoping someone else has come across it. TIA

It's coming from driver side wing mirror mate on most caddys

He said top of windscreen . I've heard something similar turned out to be radio Ariel come loose which is located in top of screen.
Re: Caddy 4 Wind noise
I believe it to be original windscreen as it’s still got vw marking. I’ll check out the aerial point if I can seen it. My mirrors are both the same size

All antennas are inside the mirrors for Caddy 4, as far as I know.

Re: Caddy 4 Wind noise
I have an 09 maxi Life and the noise is caused by the mirrors. If you wind down the drivers window when you're clipping along and move your hand in different positions around and in front of the mirror you will hear the noise change. When I'm bored on long trips I do it and you can get the noise to almost disappear.
