More money thrown into the money pit....
Unfortunately a photo can't really show the work done or the much improved performance. But here's my attempt at doing so.
Engine remap, 2.0 TDi 102 bhp to 180 bhp.

What a sleek looking beast you have now!! Love the details!
How easy was the seat conversion, got a 68 plate silver maxi and the seats are doing my head in! ...

Thanks m8.
Seat conversion is rather easy if you put them on touran bases. Those just bolt straight in. Only modification needed was the wiring. The connections are different. Wires are also different colours but you should be able to figure out what goes where though. I just cut the wires and soldered on the correct connections to match the seats.

Re: Silver Caddy (66)
So decided I wanted somewhere to sit in the back, but would double up as a bed as well. I've been stuck with changing thoughts about doing this or just to buy a Rusty Lee's rock'n'roll bed. However I've gone with this for now. My current feeling is this will suit my needs better at present (or so I hope), plus it's a bit cheaper too.
I've made storage underneath and with a pull out drawer which will hold a camping stove along with other items.
A few images of the build. Still a couple bits to finish off and need to add the foam toppers. These are getting made at present.

Re: Reflex Silver Caddy (66)
I just used some L shaped brackets for shelves and screwed to the floor and legs.
Remember the seat/bed is not to be used for passengers while driving, as this obviously wouldn't be secure enough or safe.

Re: Reflex Silver Caddy (66)
The other week driving through some flood water I managed to rip off and shatter my front splitter .I found that having no splitter for the week it was great driving around and not catching it everywhere on the bumpy roads round here. So instead of replacing it, I bought a Van Style front bumper skid plate instead and had it painted gloss black to match the rest of the van.
Also had the rear doors painted due to a bit of rust above the grab rail where it had took a knock and scratched the paintwork. Which also gave me the opportunity to fully delete the rear wiper. I'd previously used the kill all wipers delete kit.

Re: Reflex Silver Caddy (66)
Bumper is custom made using the diffuser off a volvo.
The Exhaust was then custom made to fit by Tony Banks Exhaust in Leeds
