Brake pads

Post by the67al »

Hi, had to do an emergency stop the other day and not to impressed with how my 2.0 140 pulled, crap in fact even though it was only around 35-40mph, just no bite and grip, so wondered if anyone had some pad recommendations etc ?

Brembo pads are pretty good and are not that expensive.

Had the OEM pads in my Caddy when I got it - braking was OKish.
Swopped to Ferodo Premier - better than stock, but still some fade during hard braking.
Brembo "OEM" pads in now - massive improvement over the Ferodos, in the wet or dry, slow speeds, high speeds, etc. Zero fade and pedal feel has massively improved as well.
