Help identifying wire hanging loose by tyre??

Post by Towner11 »

Sorry for the constant questions, but I've just noticed a wire hanging free behind the front passenger tyre, (in picture) any ideas as to what it is?Image

I'm no expert but I'd say brake pad wear warning

The only two cables to that wheel are wheel speed sensor for ABS and brake pad wear sensor if you have it fitted.
Have you any warning lights on the dash?

I had the rear abs sensor replaced on Saturday for a rear wheel, no lights on the dash...so I guess its for a brake pad sensor and I just don't have a sensor?
