I had of those ones first off. But they wasn’t to flex and a touch bigger so they were a really tight fit. The genuine ones are flexi and fit much nicer

Ah okay thank you for that, so can you actually get over them if you see some? Or just turn around job and find a safer routelord-dudester wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 8:00 pm It’s not too bad. I had to remove the plastic flappy thing thats half way along the bottom of the van as it was scraping a lot on them. But there’s not a huge amount of speed bumps round my parts. The front is the only issue. The bumper is a good 40mm lower than the standard one was so I had to be careful of it when pulling into anything that’s not flat
How much did you lower by as I’d like to be the same as it’s perfect

I’m not too sure on the exact measurement. But it’s on the h&r deep kit that as a rule goes a fair bit lower than most other kits on the market.

Re: new caddy with mods planned
A few winter updates from mine...
Not been up to much with it, I have considered selling it on a bit over the winter as I’ve a transporter coming for work, but still not 100% set on it yet. Plus the current situ is kinda forcing me to sit tight with it which I’m kinda pleased about in a way
But after a few issues with the original fit of the clubsport bumper I got another one, so we’re on clubsport mk2 now
I went for the separate grill this time round and it’s a much better fit. The clipping in of the travelinlite grill really holds it in place better and second time round all the fixing lugs were there so it holds better where it wraps round the front to the wheel arch (where it’s under tension) So I’m pleased with the fit much more now.
Just gotta get the grill wrapped - the chromes looking shocking !

Wouldn’t fit your van anyway as it’s a mk4.
Looks mean from the front Even more once you’ve dechrromed

Thanks dude. This has now gone off to a new home. I’ll be back for another caddy in a couple of years I think. Swapped
