Haven’t done anything on the van for a while as it’s just been parked up due to having an operation. But this week I managed to smooth and repaint the engine cover, paint the B post trims and also the headlight filler plates.

Toffee delights
After repainting the engine cover and fillet plates I decided the fuel filter housing looked dreadful, so I made a cover for it. Quick trip to Screwfix for a 110mm waste pipe end cap, some cutting, sanding and painting later and it was done. I think it looks loads better.

The rough cuts were cleaned up prior to painting and the notches were added so it sits over the screw heads in top of the filter housing
It sat tight on the screw heads but as I precaution I also added some small bits of Velcro.

Very nice mate really like that, you just keep my bank account empty with all these nice ideas love it currently on the door card trim an starting the rear lining but will keep this one in the idea bank for sure
