Once you’ve cracked it. Bell him and tell him you got them open. He may be able to help at this point suppling the bits to finish them. The output on mine is incredible. It’s like have flood lights on the front of the van. He’s defo worth a chat dude. He really knows his stuff
Yeah all that chrome
All the other bits I will grab on eBay but the sequentials I will ask him about

Are yours done now? Got a picture of them on?
Is the light output affected due to the reflectors being sprayed?
Cheers

So I was thinking this yesterday as I finished the tear down and the top two lights (projector & hid) both stick out further that the inner chrome housing so they don’t even use them. the only one that might be affected is the indicator bulb but if I switch to sequential i won’t be using that bulb.
FYI not finished yet I’ve seen a lot of vids on the realseal so I’m confident it will work.
Look really good mate, Iv had a play around with mine too, got a bit to much time on my hands lol, love how you managed the DRL's looks great!
Btw I love the colour, MK4s look soo good in red!

Oh Mate nice work there looks wicked, how hard was it to open in the end?
Thanks mate I had to use a Dremel and cut the sealant, they didn't fit in my oven haha.
Wasn't too bad, neater than I expected in the end, stil not sealed back up yet, got some adjustments to make on the xenon projectors still to do, not sitting high enough, and thinking of changing the dynamic indicators for some others as they are not very bright during the day. What ones did you use?

Haha I’m opening up my old “candles” to mod them up but I refuse to cut that top flange so out with the heat gun again and hook tools.
Must be hard to get everything lined up.
The sequentials I used are morimoto ones, they had a recall last year that’s why it took me so long to get it all done.
I would definitely recommend morimoto butyl sealant too.
Yea it did take a bit of cut plastic lol I know what u mean, but in my head it's all hidden when they are in! But fair play for doing it properly! And yea cheers mate I'll have a look for it
Good luck with yours

@rush roo was it totally necessary to quote the previous post each time rather than just reply?
Please look back to the last few posts and imagine how much tidier it would be without the quotes.
