Are all these quotes absolutely necessary? This is getting out of hand.

I had 55mm hubs on my van to start with so was ok, I’ve just gone to the alloy version of the 55mm hub

My 8v rs3 as these brakes from build, why would you need to fit such powerful brakes on the caddy van, are you guys running over 350hp?
Interested why you would fit this braking set up.

It’s not necessarily about having 350bhp some of us just like to stop well, mine have saved me a few times when idiots have tried to pull out last min, if it saves my van from being smashed up am happy with it, an they were at a very good price compared to what am seeing the R32 set up go for, you don’t have to have a massive engine to have massive brakes and they look good

I’ve had numerous sets of brakes on my van since I owned it. Standard brakes are barely adequate when you carry lots of weight in the van. I upgraded to R32 calipers and discs and felt precisely zero improvement. Then I upgraded to R32 Tarox discs and pads and felt some slight improvement but still not the greatest brakes I’ve ever felt. Then I upgraded again to Brembo 18z 6 pots, these are a huge improvement and as mentioned above have saved my van a couple of times when if I’d had standard brakes I’d possibly have ended up crashing.

Couldn’t agree more aesthetics is a factor yeah but I carry a lot weight from time to time and the stopping power isn’t enough.
