Re: What did you do to your van today?
New tyre day for me as the front tyres had badly worn on the inside edge, tracking was well out so now that's been sorted too. Nice to have a steering wheel that's dead centre again

PTC heater install for me today!
Managed to pick up a PTC heater (rev E) wiring and fuse yesterday for the rather modest sum of £15, result!
It’s not the easiest of things to install, took 3 hours, a bit of cursing and a little bit of skin!
Testing with VCDS, all working, lots of hot air coming out the vents, test mode doesn’t seem to run the heater at full power, it got significantly hotter when I stopped the test and let it run!
Still have an error code that I can’t remove, bummer
And the cables are nice and cool, no heating up of the cables or connections.
Bring on the cold and frosty mornings!

Try this.
Start up your vehicle. Whilst it's stationary and in neutral, turn the steering full lock to the left (possibly hold it for a second) and then to the opposite side. This may clear the fault code.
Good luck !!!

Not certain of this, it's just what Iv read.
I haven't bothered to get it checked as my warranty has just run out lol, Iv got a fault code of failure to read NOX sensor b, I assume that's something to do with adblue, but still runs fine.

Been getting very hot refitting my front headlining and trims after finishing off painting.
The dreaded A pillars to do. Ordered black grab handles as don’t fancy painting them and going to make new loops for the grab straps. Just the seat belt top covers to paint then start on the rear ones. Will take pics tomorrow when A pillars are in.

From memory those seat belt top covers are not very expensive for all the parts new and in black.

Re: What did you do to your van today?
New wheels, lowered and treated myself to some new plates as well. Really happy with it, as is the lad who bought my old rims and they look much better on his than they did on mine. Before and after pics
