Thank you for that.

Did you get any issues with the with the block connectors? I heard a story about them not fitting through the bulkhead.

How did you work out what resisters to use in the missing airbag wiring?

I'm going to put a Scirocco front end on a Maxi (2.0 TSI) so any pointers would be awesome. I think the subframe should bolt up, then just use the Caddy lights on a Scirocco loom.

Yea on the pass side I cut the hole slightly bigger the made a small plate with a seal an used rivit nuts an new bolts so now I can Un bolt a small corner if I ever need it out again. Every thing fitted through the drivers side.
As for the resistors I always use a resistor 2.7omh in anything I doing it with an it worked 100%.

Subframe should bolt stright in use the steering rack an abs pump as the all coded together
You'll find the light will plug stright in the only wires I had to make a bit longer was the ds headlight plug an the plug for the headlight switch in side think that was because it was all out of the K1. The 2nd van (grey one), was all from a Mk5 gti an plugged stright in.

I've now bought a 2012 fr leon for a caddy build for myself an a 2010 audi tt for another caddy for a friend.
When I do these I wana do an awd rs3 powered Mk4 van an sell my own ones

Morning,

Firstly great build, looks the part.

Ive got a donor A3 2.0TFS (2006) I am I right in saying this too is the same as the MK5 GTI and so therefore again should bolt in if im to use the steering rack, abs pump and subframe?

Cheers
