Viper Green Caddy

Post by Danlong10 »

So, finally the garage have started to get back to usual, and now all I’m waiting for is the updated v5 from my car without the private rev before I can pick the caddy up.

Van has ply lining and some racking in the back, but I’m gonna tip it all out and start fresh in the back.

What soundproof, insulation and carpet do you guys recommend?

Also, have a pic Of the van before all the sign writing is taken off and before a good clean and polish.

Looking good there @Danlong10 Congratulations
Hopefully she won't drain you of your life savings, but I think you've got the makings of a really sweet van
Any standard goodies on her :?:

Thanks @Ripley55 I’m sure I’ll follow in the footsteps of many other members and never stop with the mods.

It’s a trendline, got all the usuals with a reversing camera, cruise control etc. It also has a tailgate, which is one of the main reasons I wanted that one so much.

Does anybody know roughly how much carpet is needed to carpet the entire load area of the van?

Just ordered some GTE Custom van seat covers for when I pick the caddy up, which will hopefully be this week.

Gone for the Hex R with green stitching, anyone got any tips for fitting?

I was originally gonna swap the seats out all together, something I will end up doing in the future, but wanted a fast fix.

They look lovely, but is that a big crease running right across the R logo??

Personally I'd be asking GTE for either a replacement or a discount as they're not perfect, and you've paid a lot of money for them. Maybe it's me being picky lol. If you're happy with them, then all is good 👍
I'm pretty sure they should look like this though.

Yeah I get what you’re saying, but now it’s been sat in it’s virtually impossible to see, so I’m not to worried now. If it was still obvious then I’d defo be asking for a replacement.

The 3M™ Acoustics Solution treatment involves the installation of Vibration Dampeners, Sound Absorber and the Noise Sealing Tape.
